Here's something you don't see every day...

... a publishing company that is actually recruiting UNPUBLISHED authors!

The chance of getting your work published by a traditional "big" publishing house is almost ZERO unless you have the following going for you:

1) You are already a published author with at least one successful title, or

2) You are famous, or

3) Both.

"But what about literary agents? Aren't they supposed to get new authors a publishing contract?"

Yes, but they can't really do a better job of getting your work noticed than going directly to the publisher yourself, and here's why...

A), Agents are now swamped with manuscripts and can only read a small percentage of what they get.

B), They only promote the "sure things" to the editors at the publishing houses they work with, because that's all the publishing houses are interested in these days.

We're taking a different approach to publishing than the big New York publishers. Getting published doesn't have to be as unlikely as winning the lottery any more, because our goal is to promote the published word, if we consider it good work. That includes first time authors, as well as seasoned veterans. By opening doors into the publishing world for writers of great books, we believe that people who love great books will notice and buy them. It's really just that simple.

We know that there is much more writing talent out there than that which is represented by what is available on the bookstore shelves. Our job is to find it and help bring the literary world back to a time when content was more important than it is now. Yes, profit is important for any company, but we believe the formula must also include a love for what we do.

Fortuity Press™ is a full service publisher. We can help you compile and edit your manuscript. We can help you format and edit illustrations. We can either use your cover design, or create one for you. We will take care of getting your books printed and distributed. We will assign your book an ISBN and get it registered.
